My name is Robin Powell. My husband Larry and I are the founders of Golden Illumination. We began this company to share information and products we have used which brought us knowledge and wisdom in sustaining a healthier life.
I have worked with natural healing remedies for the treatment of bacteria, parasites, viruses, fungus and infections for about twenty five years. I use alternative methods to test what remedy is needed.
At the age of seventeen, the family doctor diagnosed me with a spastic colon. I refused to take the drugs he prescribed because I knew there had to be another way of getting to the cause of my symptoms. Over the following years I became aware of many alternative treatments to eliminate the pain I was experiencing.This brought me to a new realization that drugs in many situations were not necessary. My knowledge of herbal treatments evolved over the following years from a company with the name Systemic Formulas. I became aware through treating myself with these products how to treat ailments such as: allergies, hemorrhoids, tonsilitis, toxic liver, skin rashes, colds, parasites, fungus, bacteria and viruses.
In 2000, I experienced congestion in my lungs that seemed to come and go, and I was not sure what to do. I had treatment for my gums and at the time the dentist said I had an infection. My body reacted from the antibiodic he prescribed so I had to stop the drug.
In July 2005, I became seriously ill. My husband had no choice but to take me to the emergency room. I was admitted to the hospital and then ICU for four weeks. The diagnose was double pneumonia, straph infection, and a collapsed lung. We realize now how the gum infection lead to the lung infection! The hospital staff believed I was not going to recover but did everything possible to keep me alive. During the stay at the rehabilitation hospital I learned to walk, swallow food, water, and breath on my own.
My recovery was miraculous! I surprised everyone and was released from the rehabilitation hospital three weeks ahead of schedule. Due to the stay in the hospital of six weeks, I had to regain complete muscle strength to learn how to walk. In addition to the four pints of blood, drugs and x-ray treatments that were given in the hospital my body became toxic. My central nervous system was damaged.
Slowly I regained the strength to be able to diagnose which natural herbs to detoxify my body, relieve pain, and gain strength to walk again.
As a result of this devastating experience, we felt compelled to reach out to others, sharing information and natural products that helped in my recovery. The internet became an ideal vehicle for us to do this.
