In the simplest terms, Bovis equals life energy. The Bovis Scale is a means of measuring life energy. It was devised by French physicist Antoine Bovis while he was doing research among the Great Pyramids of Egypt in the 1930s. The Bovis Energy Scale measurers "Natural Earth Energy" and ranges from Zero to Infinity. It is a measure of "life force" energy.

The Bovis Scale is measured in Angstrom Units which measures the size of wavelengths of light particles or Bio-photons which are light particles invisible to our vision. Scientific research has associated a clockwise or right spin of atoms and molecules with a Bovis reading below 6,500. The Bovis energy scale quantifies or measures how positively or negatively charged a substance is. For living organisms, the key reference point on the scale is bound at 6,500 Bovis energy units. From 0 to 6,500 Bovis, the charge is in the NEGATIVE range, or life-detracting; while above the 6,500 Bovis point, the energy gradually becomes more POSITIVE, or life-enhancing.

The life force index for most water resources including lakes, rivers, oceans and fresh water supplies is below 4,900 Bovis units. Tap water is about 2,500 units. It is speculated that this may be a reason for the rise of cancer as cancer cells have been read at 4,700 units. (Dancu, David, Amazing Water). Our bodies are over seventy per cent water. It is postulated that if we increase the energy level of water to 10,000 to 12,000 Bovis units, we increase our ability to reduce, eliminate or prevent disease.

The essential energy products change the Bovis reading of liquids placed in them or which are in contact with them. These readings are always above 6,500 and, in many cases, are within the 8,000 to 36,000 Bovis range. Higher energy levels are possible by allowing liquids to stand in their containers for 12 or more hours in which the Bovis readings may equal about 90,000 units. The highly-charged energized water products have a Bovis reading of about 2.5 million units. Some of the products will cumulatively produce higher Bovis readings (e.g. use of the "water wand" with the water filter and energy mug will have a cumulative effect on the Bovis levels depending on the time). An ideal range for people is 8,000 to 40,000 Bovis units.

You may believe that there is no scientific basis for "life energy." On the contrary, there is substantial evidence for this force. Worldwide about forty scientific groups are working on bio-photons including such topics as coherence in biology, biocommunication, and biophotonics. The largest of these associations is the INTERNATIONAL INTSITUTE OF BIOPHYSICS (IIB) in Neuss, Germany.
