Delicious Roasted Whole Chicken Recipe:

• Wash chicken and remove giblets
• Rub cavity with the cut side of a 1/2 of lemon, sprinkle with salt, pepper, thyme and parlsey
• Tie the legs together with string, close the neck area with long basting pins
• Rub chicken with butter and season with a little sea salt
• Roast at 350 degrees, uncovered on the stainless steel rack, for half of the time (20 minutes)
• During the first 20 minutes of the roasting remove chicken from oven, place on dish and gather juices from glass tray to baste (using a basting utensil to gather the fluid)
• Place chicken back in oven and pour the basting fluids over the chicken, finishing first half (20 minutes).
• After first side is cooked, turn chicken on other side cooking it for the remainder of time... 20 minutes(again basting in between)
• Take out and let the chicken cool a bit before slicing
• Yummy, juicy and so tender! The Best!

Cherry Tart Recipe

1 - Refrigerator pie crust or even better a homemade pie crust
1 - One large can of cherry filling or even better yet Grandma's homemade cherry filling
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Place crust in the bottom of a 10-inch tart pan or pie dish. Place on the 3 inch rack and cook at 400ºF for 10 minutes. While the crust is cooking mix the cinnamon in to your cherry pie filling. Reserve 1/4 cup of the thickened cherry juices. When the crust is finished, pour in the cherry pie filling. Now place on the 1-inch rack at cook at 400ºF for 15 minutes. Brush with the reserved juices and serve hot or cold.
